TZ is investigating a defect that Volvo hybrid drivers have been reporting. When the car is in electric mode, the heater reportedly does not produce hot air. Volvo released a technical journal in May 2022 about the climate system heating performance, alerting service managers to the issue and suggesting replacing the high voltage coolant heater as a solution.
A class action lawsuit may be consumers’ best recourse to ensure Volvo pays for repairing a defective system. If you drive a Volvo hybrid XC60, XC90, S60, S90, or V60 from model years 2016-2023 and you have experienced this issue, please contact us via the form below.
We look forward to hearing from you.
