Improper Mortgage Fees Investigation

Some mortgage lenders and/or mortgage loan servicers have been charging “convenience fees,” “Speedpay fees,” or “processing fees” just for making mortgage payments online or over the phone. Under California, DC, Florida, New York, and Maryland laws, these “pay-to-pay” fees may be unlawful.  If your mortgage lender or servicer is charging you one of these fees (usually $5 for online and $10 for phone payments), please fill out the form below.
