Partner Andrea R. Gold Named “2013 Rising Star” By Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers is an independent rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. Each year, Super Lawyers honors lawyers “who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Super Lawyers designates “up and coming” lawyers as “Rising Stars.” Rising Star designations—which are given to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in a particular state—are awarded after a rigorous nominations and research process aimed at celebrating the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

This year, Super Lawyers named Andrea R. Gold as a “Rising Star.” Ms. Gold, who has worked at Tycko & Zavareei LLP since 2006 and was named a partner earlier this year, represents clients in class actions, unfair competition matters, employment litigation, and qui tam claims under the federal False Claims Act. Ms. Gold has represented clients throughout the litigation process, including at trial and at the appellate level.

Ms. Gold is admitted to practice before the courts of the District of Columbia and Illinois, as well as before several federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and the District Courts for the District of Columbia and the District of Maryland.
