Subject:  Zoom Videoconferencing App Investigation

If you used the Zoom videoconferencing app for iOS, you may have a legal claim.

Zoom Video Communications offers online video conferencing for meetings, calls, and mobile collaboration. Users can access Zoom video conference calls through their computers or through an app on their phones.

Recently, media outlets have reported that the Zoom app for iOS sent users’ personal identifying information to Facebook—without their consent. According to news outlets, every time a user opened the Zoom app on their Apple smartphone or device, the Zoom app would send their personal information to Facebook. The outlets have reported that Zoom would send information to Facebook even if the user did not have a Facebook account.
