Tycko & Zavareei LLP is investigating claims by tenants in the District of Columbia against several property management companies and Conservice, a third-party utility billing agent, for possible unfair, illegal, and deceptive billing practices.
The alleged practices involve illegal monthly charges to which the tenant never agreed, inflated charges for utilities such as water, sewer, gas, and electricity, and illegal eviction based on the alleged failure to pay these charges.
If you were overcharged, misled, or harmed in any way by the utility billing practices, you may have a legal claim for compensation.
