APRIL 1, 2022. Tycko & Zavareei LLP is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a law firm today. Co-Founders Jon Tycko and Hassan Zavareei sat down recently to chat about how they started the firm. They reflected on how they began their law careers at a biglaw firm and ultimately found they had more professional and creative control striking out on their own.
“There was just something appealing about the idea of just starting a firm and kind of seeing how it went,” Jon remarked. “The reason I went to law school was to use the legal skills and talents and privileges that I gained to help other people,” Hassan said, adding that starting a firm, “was sort of a natural thing.”
