February 22, 2022. Tycko & Zavareei LLP attorneys are representing Capital One and Bank of America credit card customers who were promised fee relief during the pandemic yet were unable to obtain said relief.

In the wake of the economic collapse caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, consumer advocates, lawmakers, governors and regulators asked banks to waive credit card late fees as people struggled to make ends meet.

Instead of actually helping its most vulnerable customers, Capital One and Bank of America launched feel-good media campaigns, promising to waive or refund credit card late fees. Through this lawsuit, we intend to force these banks to make good on their promises.
