Although the National Law Journal considered Tycko & Zavareei’s many recent successes in bestowing the award, it specifically took note of the firm’s work to reach a $27.5 million settlement with Bank of America over certain of the bank’s overdraft fee-charging practices.
This marks the third consecutive year that Tycko & Zavareei has been recognized among the nation’s Elite Trial Lawyers. Indeed, the firm has received this honor in all three years of the award’s existence. Making the recognition all the more impressive, the National Law Journal noted that the 35 honoree firms “range in size from the hundreds to a dozen lawyers.” Thus, at just over a dozen attorneys in size, Tycko & Zavareei is among the smallest firms to be honored on this year’s list.
