Ms. Khader on her elevation to Partner:

Ms. Khader joined Tycko & Zavareei in 2022, where she has been instrumental in high-impact litigation, including actions against unfair corporate practices and predatory lending. Her recent work includes significant cases addressing hidden fees, predatory payday loans, and data theft, reflecting her commitment to defending marginalized communities through innovative legal strategies.
Prior to her tenure at Tycko & Zavareei, Ms. Khader held senior roles at the Equal Justice Center, Workers’ Defense Project, and the New York Legal Assistance Group. She also interned with the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Ms. Khader graduated with honors from Columbia University School of Law and served as a judicial clerk for Judge Debra C. Freeman in the Southern District of New York.
In addition to her legal accomplishments, Ms. Khader’s community involvement includes serving on the Dallas Civil Service Board and the board of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. She is fluent in Spanish and has a strong focus on issues impacting immigrant communities.
