Our firm represented Duke basketball legend Christian Laettner in numerous matters relating to real estate investments in North Carolina that resulted in the revitalization of urban areas of Durham. Because Mr. Laettner personally guaranteed many ventures that lost money after the collapse of the real estate market, he had numerous judgments and lawsuits pending against him when we were retained. We have resolved several of those lawsuits and are continuing to work with creditors relating to those judgments.
