Troy Brown is a Public Interest Fellow in the Washington, DC office. Troy received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2025. While at Harvard, Troy provided nearly 1000 hours of pro bono legal services, representing consumers, workers, and advocacy organizations fighting against corporate wrongdoing across all levels of the state and federal judiciaries.
During his summers, Troy worked at a plaintiffs’-side appellate firm and a legal non-profit. He successfully represented workers fighting wrongful termination and wage theft in the Federal Courts of Appeals and developed novel legal theories for holding powerful corporate actors to account. Troy’s work centered around fighting for economic justice for workers and consumers across the country.
Prior to law school, Troy worked as a paralegal in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where he worked on consumer protection litigation that resulted in judgments and settlements requiring the payment of tens of millions of dollars in restitution for consumers. Troy also maintained a policy portfolio that centered racial and economic justice in health care.
Troy is a first-generation college graduate who received his B.A. from Columbia University where he studied Political Science.
